About us
We started Cantilever so building decisions could rest on readings, not guesswork.
What we do
Cantilever turns meter readings into answers a facility team can act on: validated consumption, demand forecasts, anomaly alerts, emissions estimates and efficiency scenarios — all with their assumptions shown.
How we work
Every number in the product states what it is: a measured reading, a calculated cost, a forecast, a scenario output or an estimated emission. When we don't know, the product says so instead of guessing.
Who it's for
Commercial property portfolios, facility managers, industrial campuses, hotels, retail chains and the sustainability teams behind them.
Our commitment
We do not promise savings percentages we haven't measured, and we never present a model's guess as a physical fact. Evidence first, always.
Why it matters
Commercial buildings pay for every unit of energy they draw, yet most operators learn about waste only when the invoice lands — long after it could have been prevented. Cantilever exists to close that gap: import the readings, validate them honestly, forecast demand, flag what looks wrong, and turn all of it into actions someone owns and someone verifies.
Founders
The people behind Cantilever
Chiagozie Jennifer
Chief Executive Officer
Jennifer leads Cantilever with a simple conviction: buildings already produce the data needed to run them better — most owners just never get to see it plainly. She spent years around facility and property teams watching energy bills arrive as surprises, and founded Cantilever so decisions could rest on validated readings instead of gut feel. Colleagues know her for holding every dashboard to one standard: if you can't trace where a number came from, it doesn't ship.
Owie Michael
Chief Technology Officer
Michael is the engineer behind Cantilever's calculation and forecasting engine. He cares about the unglamorous parts — data validation, time-aware model testing, provenance records — because he has seen what happens when a forecast is wrong and nobody can explain why. He builds models that show their error metrics openly and refuses to let the platform claim a cause it can't evidence. When a number moves, he wants you to know exactly why it moved.
Chukwuma Jessica
Chief Operating Officer
Jessica runs the side of Cantilever customers actually live in: onboarding, meter imports, data quality and support. She has untangled enough messy spreadsheet exports to know that a brilliant model is worthless if the readings feeding it were never checked. She designed the import and validation experience around one rule — a customer should always understand what was accepted, what was rejected and why. Her work is why the first clean baseline usually arrives in days, not months.
